jetAudio is a well-established media player with a notable reputation and considerable popularity, particularly on CNET.COM. Now, jetAudio offers Android users the opportunity to experience its renowned high-quality sound directly on their smartphones.

For those interested, a free version called jetAudio Basic is available, allowing users to test its features before considering an upgrade to the Plus version.

Among its features are various sound effects and visualization plugins, such as Crystalizer, AM3D Audio Enhancer, Bongiovi DPS, and Visualizations. These plugins can be acquired separately through in-app purchases.

jetAudio supports a wide range of digital music file formats including .wav, .mp3, .ogg, .flac, .m4a, .mpc, .tta, and more. With features like Wide, Reverb, and X-Bass enhancements, it ensures high-quality sound output.

The media player boasts 32 equalizer presets catering to diverse listening preferences. Additionally, users have the option to customize their sound experience further with a 10/20 bands graphic equalizer and advanced playback functions like playback speed control and crossfading.

Streaming music from shared folders on local home networks or WebDAV servers is also supported by jetAudio. Moreover, it facilitates streaming music files from cloud services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, and OneDrive.

While the free Basic version offers almost all features available in the Plus version except for ads and certain functionalities, the Plus version presents exclusive features like a 20-bands graphic equalizer, Tag Editor, display of unsynchronized lyrics in tags, and more.

Some other Plus version features include three lock screens, pitch shifter, precise playback speed control, MIDI playback through the jetAudio WaveTable MIDI synthesizer engine, and additional themes for the browser.

Regardless of the Basic or Plus version chosen, jetAudio provides an array of features including various list and grid layout modes, app widgets for quick access, integration with YouTube and Last.fm, sound effects like X-Wide, Reverb, X-Bass, AGC for volume consistency, speed control settings, crossfading abilities, and even social media sharing options.

The application supports multiple formats including MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, M4A, AIFF among others (WMA compatibility varies by device).
